Sesleria, or Moor Grass, are a very useful group of foliage based, clump forming semi evergreen grasses that are proving of great value, from meadows and matrix planting to borders and green roofs. All are best in a generally open and sunny aspect and happy in most soils expect too winter wet.

Knoll Gardens introduction in 2020. First spotted as seedling on the nursery Spring Dream is possibly a hybrid between the native Sesleria caerulea and perhaps Sesleria nitida. This compact durable and attractive plant has blueish green slow growing foliage and attractive dainty looking initially dark flowers in early spring.
Happy in full sun or light shade in a variety of soils but not too wet. Height; 20cm – 30cm.
