Grasses and their allies are a huge group of plants, offering a range of unique qualities that make them such versatile, practical, and yet easy care and beautiful additions to our gardens and designed spaces.
Renowned for his expertise on grasses and their use in our designed spaces, join Neil Lucas for an afternoon lecture and walk around parts of the renowned Howard nursery (from 1.30pm to 5pm), as he imparts something of his knowledge and experience gained during his 30 years of living and working at Knoll. Neil will show how grasses are an essential part of the naturalistic and wildlife friendly ethos and approach to garden making, which has made Knoll the respected garden that it is today. Whatever your experience level learn how to choose, use and care for them, and see just how valuable grasses can be for todays gardens and the wider environment.
Please note this class will entail a walk to the stock fields as well as the container unit, so please have suitable clothing and footwear.
An exclusive class for garden designers and trade professionals.
This is an off site event to be held at Howard Nurseries, Wortham, Diss, IP22 1PX.
Tickets are non refundable unless event cancelled by Knoll Gardens
