The European native snowy wood rush is an introduced species to the UK. Slowly increasing mounds of hairy wide green leaves and dense clusters of early season arching white flowers. Very effective en masse. Ideal in partial shade, wet to reasonably dry soils, but will take sun if not too dry. Height; 50cm – 60cm.

Description
These ornamental grasses are Evergreen: Comb or rake off any old, tired or dead leaves and flowers in spring. If needed evergreens can be cut back (by up to half) at almost any time from April to July. Do not cut back in autumn or winter.
These plants can be trimmed back after flowering to encourage a new sheaf of fresh foliage.
