Introduced in autumn 2024, Pennisetum Black Arrow is a new Fountain Grass from Knoll Gardens and is a selection from our trials of Pennisetum alopecuroides seedlings. It is named for its impressive heads of large, cylindrical, dark and fluffy flowers that can have a distinctively tapered, arrow like tip and which appear in great quantity from rounded mounds of bright green foliage during high summer onwards. Needs sunny well drained spot. Soil not too wet. Height; 80cm – 1m.
