Research

The KGF organises ongoing surveys of the gardens wildlife, several of which are undertaken by our own volunteers, of various groups of garden wildlife such as Butterflies, Dragonflies, Bees, Amphibians and Moths.

The KGF is delighted to work with other conservation organisations such as:

Along with a desire to widen our survey groups (we would be pleased to hear from a locally based expert on a plant, animal or insect group that we do not currently survey), the exciting possibility of eDNA surveys are currently under consideration.

Reports & Surveys

The Foundation collects data and undertakes a number of surveys within the Gardens, a collection of the reports for these are available below:

We understand and believe that gardens and the built environment constitute an increasingly significant part of the earth’s remaining green space.

Galleries

A series of galleries are slowly being created up that detail by image the wildlife recorded during these surveys.
