Hakonechloa, or Hakone Grass, are amongst the most beautiful of foliage plants, with elongated taper ended leaves gradually forming elegant mounds that are equally happy in sun or shade though disliking wet soils. Long lived, though slow initially, they excel in dry and shady places.
