Sanguisorba

Sanguisorba, the burnets, are a widely varying group, some native, which offer catkin like cylindrical flowers in a range of colours, heights and shapes that are produced from slender flower spikes during summer. Best in sunny open positions and happy in most soil types except too winter wet.
