Solidago, or Golden Rod, are a widely varying group of plants that include the common golden rod of gardens. Many other distinctive forms exist, all offering primarily yellow flowers in a variety of shapes and sizes. Best in sunny open positions with soil that is not too winter wet. Some may tolerate a little light shade.
