A lovely selection from our native Briza media or quaking grass, producing flowerheads of a distinctive light golden yellow hue as they mature. Short lived perennial that is most effective in late spring and early summer. Seed will not come true. Sun or light shade. Soil not too wet. Height 50cm – 70cm.

Description
These ornamental grasses are Semi Evergreen. After most winters the foliage will have become untidy and can be cut back late winter or early spring before the flower spikes appear. Should the foliage and flowers appear untidy during the summer, trimming off the old leaves and flowers will encourage a new sheaf of fresh leaves.
Briza can be short lived (3 – 5 years), but can be divided periodically to maintain vigour.
