Clumps of bright green foliage support masses of tall narrow upright stems with a slightly splaying habit that creates a slightly more open, transparent feel than the similar Karl Foerster. Very distinctive, and effective when used as an informal screen. Best in a sunny open position but may tolerate some light shade. Happy in most soils. Height; 1.5m – 1.8m.
