Forms graceful clumps of bright yellow gold and green striped foliage that is topped with attractive spring time flowers. Avoid hot dry positions. Best in average to damp soils. Description
These ornamental grasses are Semi Evergreen. After most winters they can be cut back to the ground in readiness for the new seasons growth to appear. In some situations after flowering, the foliage can look tired in which case cutting back to the base at this time will encourage a new sheaf of fresh shoots.
