Quietly attractive form of the native greater woodrush, gradually forming dense weed supressing drifts of white edged leaves topped by airy sprays of flower in early summer. Long lived and durable. Excellent in difficult conditions such as moist shade, but can also tolerate a reasonable level of shade that is periodically dry. Height; 40 – 50cm.

Description

These ornamental grasses are Evergreen: Comb or rake off any old, tired or dead leaves and flowers in spring. If needed evergreens can be cut back (by up to half) at almost any time from April to July. Do not cut back in autumn or winter.

In most situations these luzula need very little after care.
